Here are a few quick things to move the power of a better date. This is not the ultimate list but contains a few reminders of some basics. This is how to build a healthy soul.
1. The first date offered. Say that you are busy that day and get the other person to come up with another time. This sends a good message you have a life and are not needy.
2. Take a back seat. Let the other person do most of the talking on the date. It takes the pressure of you and allows the other person to do most of the sharing. Ask lots of questions if you are nervous, then once you both arrive at a topic you feel confident start to share.
3. First date length. It's better to not to do anything that lasts more than an hour or so. It is better if the date is low key such a coffee, a quick walk in the park or a lunch break.
4. Get the other person to chose the cafe, bar or park. Let's see what their thought process is and how organised they are. You'll soon tell if they are genuinely interested even if they put a little thought into the place.
5. If you are comfortable to see the person again, do something along these lines for three or four times before taking it up to something like dinner and a movie.
